Day Six: Resin demo

Denise Laws is one of our amazing artist mentors in this summer's collective. She brought in her deep pour resin materials so we could play with this new material. 

Using the plastic mold from the baby doll toys that Kyra found at SCRAP, we submerged various materials to observe the effect. You can see the fly and two pieces of faux fur in this photo. 

Here are clippings from a spool of thread and blue dye.
